MHIBC...A Product-Centered Ministry
Too many churches today have become "program-centered ministries." This type of church is always "busy" with activities, never having any empty spot on the calendar. And yet, with all their business and activities, the command of Christ, TO BE PRODUCT DRIVEN, is not being met.
MHIBC takes the words of Jesus Christ very seriously. Jesus said in the book of Matthew to be product-driven, or in Bible terms, make disciples!
- "Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and, lo, I am with you always, [even] unto the end of the world" - Matthew 28:19-20
MHIBC is committed to the task of discipleship, to see unbelievers come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior, and to see believers fulfill their God-given goal in life, which is to become like Jesus Christ.
- "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [His] purpose. For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate [to be] conformed to the image of His Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren" - Romans 8:28-29
Being committed to the task of discipleship means being committed to the Word of God. We believe the Bible when it says:
- "All Scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness; that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works" - II Timothy 3:16-17.
We believe the Bible is sufficient to solve any spiritual problem an individual may face.
- "According as His divine power hath given unto us all things that [pertain] to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory and virtue" - 2 Peter 1:3
